Bis è un sistema tavolo/sedie pensato per spazi ridotti che all’occorrenza raddoppia! I due tavoli scorrono uno sull’altro in modo semplice ed una volta accostati mantengono la medesima altezza e larghezza. Lo scorrimento è facilitato da uno strato di feltro che riveste la parte inferiore del tavolo sovrastante (compreso l’interno delle zampe), in maniera tale da smorzare l’attrito ed evitare il rischio di graffi. I bordi del piano e delle zampe sono obliqui in modo da rendere più agevole la fase iniziale dello scorrimento del tavolo superiore su quello inferiore. Le sedie (coordinate col tavolo) seguono lo stesso concetto: impilate a due a due, garantiscono un numero sufficiente di posti a sedere in entrambe le configurazioni. La presa e l’impilamento della sedia superiore sono facilitati da uno scasso ai lati del piano seduta.

Bis is a system of table/chairs created for limited spaces and that, if needed, becomes double in size! The two tables slide one on top of the other in a practical and simple way and, once combined maintain the same height and width. The sliding action is facilitated by a layer of felt, which covers the bottom side of the table that is above (including the inner side of the legs), so as to lessen the friction and avoid the risk of scratches. The edges of the table surface and the legs are oblique, in order to facilitate the initial stage of sliding, from the above table to the table bellow. The chairs (matching the table) follow the same concept: piled up two by two guarantee a sufficient number of seating places in both configurations. A niche on the sides of the seating surface facilitates the grip and stacking of the chairs.
